The Corporate Roster

Six acts, one run sheet.

This is the corporate-focused subset of our full roster — the acts built for a room with executives, clients, and a schedule that can't slip.

Magician performing a close-up card trick for a guest 01

Close-Up Comedy Magic

A magician performing strolling sleight-of-hand for cocktail hours and networking receptions — works a room of executives table to table without ever needing a stage.

Best for: receptions, VIP tables Performed by The Magic Dad
The Magic Dad, portrait 02

Parlor Magic Show

A seated 20–30 minute illusionist show for 20–75 guests — the right scale for a hospitality suite or an intimate leadership dinner.

Best for: hospitality suites, private dinners Performed by The Magic Dad
Performer commanding a stage at a public event 03

Stage Magic Show

A full-scale illusionist show built for a ballroom stage and lighting rig, drawing on magic, mentalism, and hypnotism — the kind of act that gets discussed on the Monday morning call.

Best for: galas, award nights, conferences, adult event entertainment Performed by The Magic Dad
DJ performing with a Denon controller setup 04

DJ

A DJ who reads a corporate room, not just a dance floor — dinner music, clean transitions between program segments, a set that gets the room dancing without ever feeling forced.

Best for: any event with a program to run
Emcee hosting and engaging with the crowd 05

Emcee & Games Host

An MC and event host who runs the room — introductions, award presentations, interactive team activities — and keeps the night on the timeline your planning committee actually gave us.

Best for: award ceremonies, team building Performed by DJ Magic or Dmelody
Dmelody, live singer and MC 06

Live Singer

Live vocals that bring real warmth to a room — dinner sets, a first dance, or a full program moment, delivered with the kind of presence that makes a room stop and listen.

Best for: galas, award nights, appreciation events Performed by Dmelody
Why Corporate Planners Book Us

Built for people who can't afford a vendor to go sideways.

One contract, one contact

Every performer on your bill is booked and run by GetFun Events directly. If the schedule shifts on-site, you call one person — not five separate vendors.

A run sheet your planner can use

Your proposal includes act timing and staging notes your internal event lead or venue coordinator can plug straight into the master schedule.

Branding built in on request

Magic routines, emcee scripts, and program pacing can incorporate your company name, product, or campaign theme — flag it up front and we build it in.

Who's Behind The Curtain

Meet the entertainers.

GetFun Events is a roster, not a one-man show — every act is a named specialist we book and manage directly.

The Magic Dad, magic and mentalism performer
Magician · Illusionist · Mentalist · Hypnotist

The Magic Dad

For nearly 35 years, The Magic Dad has been perfecting the art of wonder — magic, mentalism, hypnosis, and everything in between. He's brought close-up, parlor, and full stage shows to corporate rooms of every size, from intimate hospitality suites to full ballroom galas, and still finds something new in the moment a room realizes what it just saw.

“After 35 years, I've learned the real trick isn't what happens in my hands — it's watching a room full of strangers turn into an audience that trusts each other.”

DJ Magic

DJ Magic rediscovered his love of music three years ago, and it's taken over ever since. He's brought that energy to corporate dinners and galas alike, with an ear for reading a room and a knack for building a set that eases guests from dinner conversation into a full dance floor without anyone quite noticing the shift.

“My favourite moment of the night is watching someone who swore they weren't going to dance change their mind.”

Dmelody, MC and live singer

Dmelody

For nearly 25 years, music has been part of Dmelody's life — singing, performing, and connecting with audiences across Canada, corporate galas included. He still finds something new to love about it every time he steps up to a mic, and brings a genuine, grounded warmth to every room he's part of.

“After 25 years, I've learned that music is a big part of people — it encourages and motivates them. It's always exciting to see people's faces when the music takes over their soul.”

    Questions Planners Ask

Before you fill out the form.

Yes — performer insurance is available upon request. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance (COI) before confirming a booking, let us know when you request your proposal and we'll have it ready.

We book events across Ontario. Travel costs outside the immediate area are built into your proposal up front — no surprise line items after you've signed off.

Yes — magic routines, emcee scripts, and staging can incorporate your logo, product, or campaign theme. Flag it in your request so it's built into the proposal from the start.

For galas and holiday-season dates, 6–10 weeks out is ideal, since those calendars fill first. Conferences and launches with fixed dates can often be locked in earlier.

Yes — we're used to coordinating directly with venue AV and event staff ahead of show night so staging, sound, and timing are settled before your guests arrive.
